Grayce with Plain & Fancy Sheep & Wool is always coming up with great color combinations and these are no exception!
This issue is chock full of great patterns from tops to bags to socks to blankets. Something for everyone!
Meet the newest addition to The Yarn Lounge- a real counter! Tracy's husband Tom is a contractor and he and I brainstormed one afternoon about what materials to use- recycled doors! It's 99% recycled doors, from the shelves in the back that you can't see, to the hutches on top that you can. Stephanie Green (of SG Decorative Designs) did some spectacular faux finishing on the door parts that needed it and other than that, the doors maintain their worn appearance. We couldn't be more pleased.

Wow - the counter looks fabulous! I miss a weekend and the whole place is transformed. I can't wait to see it!
What? A counter?!? That's crazy talk! But I like it when people talk crazy, so Bravo, it looks lovely! And so does that brown/turquoise P&F yarn....uh oh, don't tell Pete...
*love* the new countertop! can't wait to see it in person. that's some gorgeous yarn too!
SUCH a great counter. I adore it!! I have some old doors in the basement I've been meaning to reconstruct into a dining room table. (I was thinking of filling one side with resin - easy to clean, but keeps the surface flat while LOOKING like a door?) Maybe he could help me too?
What a wonderful counter. I love repurposing old things!
