Halloween Knit Night and Midweek FOs

We have many beautiful finished objects to show you!

First, here's Teri-Kay's all-in-one-piece, tree bark, Cormo sweater. She knit it in an irregular rib pattern following Ann Budd's Raglan Sweater chart in the Handy Book of Sweater Patterns. It reallly does look like tree bark!

Elizabeth finished her cables-and-lace cardigan. She used Blue Sky Alpacas Alpaca and Silk in Verte. It has a really magnificent drape and smooth hand.

Close-up of the stitchwork:

This gorgeous shawl was knit by the talented Ann for a charity event. The pattern is Angel Lace Shawl, a Fiber Trends pattern by, of course, Evelyn Clark. Ann knit it out of the Jo Sharp Alpaca Silk Georgette in Pewter, a gorgeous charcoal gray color that lent the shawl its handle "Angel of Darkness."

Melissa had not one, but two finished objects to show off at Knit Night. This chic little scarf is knit with one cable down the center, folded in half and locked in place with a little Perl Grey pin. The yarn? Malabrigo, of course! And the color is called Pearl Ten.

She also made these fingerless gloves from a Blue Sky Alpacas pattern, Arm Warmers, from the Blue Sky Alpacas Sportweight in Natural Dark Brown and Blue Sky.

And speaking of Knit Night, we had quite the crowd on the eve of Halloween. Stewart had us well-stocked in sugar and chocolate, with doughnut holes, yummy chocolate from Asheville and all sorts of Halloween candy. And thanks to Catherine for the spice bread.
